Arrived in Chiang Mai in the North of Thailand. A great city (kind of a big town really). Staying at the excellent Riverside House on the outskirts of town. Notice the 'No Trumpets' sign, I guess the Land of Smiles is is Dizzy Gillespie unfriendly :(
